The Scientists

Over half our employees are engaged in research and development – it is absolutely central to what we do.

Cantab deliberately focuses on attracting top scientists from a wide variety of backgrounds, rather than primarily from other investment houses. This broad range of experience has enabled us to think differently and as a result build portfolios with limited correlation to major macro and systematic indices and to our biggest competitors in the space.

Cantab's team combines a diverse skill set, with the common denominator being academic excellence and collegial team spirit.  We believe that a collaborative atmosphere and the spirit of team work are ingrained in Cantab’s psyche and underpin our investment philosophy.
